TariffPilot is an AI-powered SaaS platform that automates complex trade compliance tasks, giving companies a single solution for precise customs tariff classification and export control classification. For tariff classification, TariffPilot searches the full EZT-Online (chapters, headings and sub-headings) including notes, explanatory notes and binding tariff information (BTI/vZTA) with AI-based re-ranking. Every result comes with the PilotMemo: a complete justification documenting the reasoning, the alternatives checked and the exclusion process, so each decision is fully auditable. Output includes all code variants: national code (DE), TARIC, CN and HS. For export control, TariffPilot classifies goods against the EU Dual-Use Regulation and the munitions list, using the Dual-Use correlation table and the BAFA conversion index, and automatically flags critical or reporting-relevant goods. Goods can be entered as text, PDF, URL, image or high-resolution technical drawing. Entire product ranges can be classified at scale via Excel upload or API. The AI runs on self-hosted models (made in Germany, GDPR-compliant, no US-cloud risk) and was built on the customs expertise of AWB, making it a technical classifier with real domain depth rather than a generic language model. Results are delivered around ten times faster than manual classification, with up to 90% time savings, freeing trade compliance teams to focus on the complex cases.
